My friends and I have this weekly tradition called Sunday Funday. After recovering from our hangovers that we woke up with, our Sundays typically consist of going to brunch with bottomless mimosas and day drinking as we try to recap our blackouts gossiping and make fun of each other for what happened the night before.
When it comes to me, my friends always make fun of the fact that half of my closet consists of women’s clothing. Women have better options and if I can pull it off, why not? That’s why this Sunday I decided to wear a crew neck, pullover sweater with the word “BOY” across the chest and a snapback, baseball cap with the word “FAKE” on it (both I bought in the women’s section of Forever 21). I thought it was a little tongue-in-cheek about their comments. With a pair of (men’s) skinny, leopard print jeans, (women’s) black and rose gold sneaker wedges and stacked gold accessories, I’m ready to meet my friends and whatever they have to say because I really know that they try my clothes on when I’m not wearing it.
